Shelby Spence is working toward her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at IUPUI, where she is on a Pre-Professional track for Physical Therapy. She’ll be graduating in May of 2022 and applying for graduate school that fall. Shelby has loved working with patients since she first worked as a PT aide/tech in high school; it was there that she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. Shelby helps patients as an aide at Body One Fishers, where she prepares rooms, keeps items stocked, and assists patients and the providers when needed. Shelby enjoys working at Body One because the clinic is more personal, focusing on one-on-one patient care. When she’s not at Body One, Shelby likes staying active, going to the gym, hiking, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
